Day 1: Travel from Delhi to Dalhousie by car.
Dalhousie could well be a charming hill town nestled between the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges. With just natural untouched elegance, adrenaline-pumping sports, traditional handicrafts, and perfect weather all year, a visit to Dalhousie can be a frame story visiting Himachal Pradesh.

Day 2: Dalhousie Local Sightseeing & Souvenir Shopping
Things to look out for on your ride to Dalhousie:
Dainkund Peak- Dainkund Peak is the best peak in Dalhousie and one of the town's most popular destinations. The trek begins on the outskirts of Gandhi Chowk and lasts approximately 1-2 hours. The trek is difficult but satisfying, taking you through spectacular scenery and providing panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
St. John's Church- St. John's Church may be a beautiful Protestant church with Victorian-era architecture. The church houses an upscale collection of books, old photos, and historical artefacts, and serves as a sanctuary for interested visitors. This location is religiously and historically important, and it will captivate you with its charm and wonder.
Tibetan Market- A visit to Dalhousie will be incomplete without a stop at one of the town's beautiful shopping destinations. The Tibetan market, one of Dalhousie's most popular shopping destinations, houses an exquisite array of hand-picked artisanal pieces ranging from rugs and jackets to quaint Tibetan jewellery. The meticulous craftsmanship of each product can structure not only a fantastic shopping experience but also a fantastic cultural experience.

Day 3: Depart from Dalhousie for Chamba
Chamba, located on the Ravi River's side, maybe a lovely Himachal Pradesh town with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Like the British Empire, the town has restored itself in a way that combines the best of the old with the new.
Visit the Church of Scotland to unwind on a primary day. The Church of Scotland is one of Himachal Pradesh's oldest churches. The church, which is over 120 years old, took over 6 years to build! The Indo-Scottish architecture of the place really stands out, and it owes its grandeur to Dr M'Clymont, a Scottish monk who oversaw the event. People come from all over to offer their prayers and see the mystical greatness of the site.

Day 4: Visit the well-known sites in and around Chamba.
Khajjiar Lake- Khajjiar Lake is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the town of Khajjiar, also known as India's "Mini Switzerland." This beautiful lake, nestled in lush green deodar woods, provides breathtaking views of Mount Kailash. There are lush green lands nearby that host adventure sports such as zorbing, paragliding, and horseback riding and make for an excellent picnic spot.
Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary- Home to Himachal Pradesh's exotic flora and fauna, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is also a must-see. Enjoy an adventurous jungle safari and spot leopards, lions, langurs, and jackals along the way, as well as a plethora of great bird species such as the Black Headed Jay, the Black Bird, and the Eurasian Jay. This sanctuary, a truly tranquil haven, may also be a haven for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
Manimahesh Lake- Located on the outskirts of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, the Mahimahesh Lake is religiously important. The lake is also a serious pilgrimage destination, with a large number of tourists undertaking the popular 'Manimahesh Yatra' in August and September.

Day 5: Drive from Chamba to Dharamshala
The beautiful town of Dharamshala, known as India's tiny Lhasa, is located in the scenic Kangra Valley. Dharamshala has deservedly risen in prominence over the years, thanks to its dense deodar forests, culturally and historically important monasteries, and snow-capped peaks. Since it was the sacred house of the exiled Tibetan monk Dalai Lama, the town exudes a sense of tranquillity.
Visit Bhagsu Falls- Overlooking the religiously important Bhagsunath Temple, the Bhagsu Falls may also be a shocking waterfall of water dropping from a height of about 30 feet. The falls are a breath-taking sight and have the proper natural ambience to spend quality time with your loved ones. They are an ideal venue for rejuvenation.

Day 6: Dharamshala local sightseeing
Begin your day by visiting the Namgyal Monastery, where the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan leader, is said to have his abode. The monastery is billed as the most famous Tibetan temple outside of Tibet. Prayer groups, chanting sessions, and scripture readings would undoubtedly leave you feeling revitalised.
Other lovely places to visit in Dharamshala
Dal Lake- one of the most popular attractions in Dharamshala, Dal Lake is a beautiful pond with boating, trekking, and fishing facilities. The lake, located on the McLeod Ganj Naddi Road, is a tranquil destination with panoramic views of the hills. Travellers pray at the Shiva Mandir, which is situated on the lake's shore.
Triund Hill- If you like outdoor activities, Triund Hill is the spot for you. Triund Hill, located near Dharamshala, is a beautiful hill station that offers a refuge inside the majestic Himalayas. The location is ideal for taking in scenic views or going on treks that amp up the fun.

Day 7: Depart Dharamshala for your return trip to Delhi.
In the morning, check out of the hotel and travel to Delhi, bidding farewell to the beautiful state of Himachal.
